The minimum age of admission to the Play class, LKG and Std I, is 2½, 3½ and 5½ respectively.
Parents seeking admission for their wards should obtain the Application form for Registration on the stipulated date. Application Form is to be signed by the parent/guardian and cannot be transferred to another child.
The school will pursue the registered application and select the most appropriate, eligible and academically talented students after the entrance test. Parents should submit copies of Aadhar, Transfer
Certificate and the Progress Report of the child indicating his/her academic performance and participation in co-curricular activities in the school last attended during the admission. Admission will be subjected to the availability of seats.
Withdrawals:
Students are accepted for admission with the understanding that they will remain in the school for the entire course of study.
Code of Conduct for students
1. Every students is requested to purchase and read the school calendar which must be brought to School every day. Ignorance of the rules will not be accepted as an excuse.
2. Students must be regular and punctual. Habitual absence, idleness and disobedience justifies dismissal.
3. Personal hygiene and cleanliness are expected from every child.
4. Care of school property and cleanliness of the School premises is the duty of the students. They are asked not to deface the walls or ruin the furniture dustbins and baskets are provided for waste paper damage to school property or premises will have to be paid for.
5. Strict discipline in the class rooms and orderliness in the verandas is to be maintained during the school hours. No one is allowed to bring to school any objects which would prove a source of distraction.
6. Student must look after their own things. It is advisable not to bring any valuable articles to the School. The school is not responsible for lost articles.
7. No books, newspapers or magazine other than those needed for class work will not be allowed without permission from the principal.
8. Students must show respect to their teachers and be courteous and gentle to one another. They must co-operate with the School Leaders, House captains and class perfects.
9. In case of the absence without prior permission, the students must have the reason for absence, enter in the Absence Record and signed by the parent or guardian.
10. All students are expected to attend school on the opening day, after every vacation. No one will be allowed to leave on vacation earlier than the day on which the school closes.
11. No child suffering from an infections or contagious disease will be permitted to attend school, unless she produces a medical certificate stating that she is free from infection.
12. No student is allowed to leave the school working hours without the written permission from principal or without the receipt of the requesting permission letter from the parent.
13. No student or member of staff will be called to the telephone during school hours. In case of an urgency, messages received on the phone will be conveyed to them.
14. No electronic gadjets are allowed to bring to the school.
15. Avoid vulgarity in talk and behavior. Develop a healthy friendship and never insult or humiliate any fellow student.
16. Pupils from one class are not allowed to enter other class rooms or take other’s belongings. They are strictly prohibited to enter the staff room.
17. Students are expected to behave with dignity outside the school premises also. Any activities of the students outside the school premises or in public places, which may harm the name, reputation and discipline of the school will be addressed and disciplinary action will be initiated if found necessary.
18. Open up your difficulties related to studies, personal life, and family issues to the teacher, student counsellor or to any one who can help you.
19. This is an English medium school. To develop language skills speaking English is compulsory in the school premises and in the school bus (except Malayalam and Hindi language classes).
20. When the teacher enters the class room, all the pupils should stand up to greet him/her and remain standing until they are asked to sit down. All shall remain silent and study till the teacher comes to the class. In the absence of the teacher, the class leader assumes the responsibility for the order and discipline of the class. Pupils may change their allotted seats in the class room only with the permission of the class teacher.
21. Running, playing about, shouting or whistling inside the class rooms, corridors of staircases is not allowed. Perfect silence should be maintained in the library and laboratory.
22. Study your lessons daily, revise during the weekend what was learned during the week.
23. All books should be kept clean and well-labelled. No drawings, pictures, photographs or scribbling will be accepted on any part of the text book or exercise book or on the desk or benches. The offenders at their own expense will replace books, files, or any school property defaced in this way or destroyed.
24. Habitual negligence in work and frequent acts of misconduct will involve severe disciplinary action including expulsion.
25. Every student should take part in extra curricular activities and PT unless physically unfit and specially exempted by the principal.
26. Attendance on National days like Independence day, Republic day or other such celebrations is compulsory. Absence without prior approval will be viewed seriously.
